The variable design includes all components for optimal product photography, which is the basis for a proper 2D web presentation and printable product images seen from all angles. Typical errors that can happen during photography are minimized by the fully automated system. Thus, you’ll get perfectly cropped, properly exposed and clear photos all around the object and, if you like, even from above and below – all in just one go.

Note: The 2D Apparat is extremely low-maintenance as we paid much attention to the price-performance ratio when designing it. For example, we use the relatively simple Canon D200 for photography for it offers optimal resolution and quality for this standardized studio environment. So you benefit from cost savings. Should any component be defective, you can replace it at any time, independent of suppliers. That gives you the highest possible flexibility and security. Of course we can also use other cameras according to your requirements.

High End Workstation

The high-end workstation is perfectly designed to quickly process huge amounts of data. Actually, the workstation is too big for the mere requirements of the 2D Apparat. However, we know that this workstation will be used intensively. So there should be an option for expansions to get the full performance out of the 2D Apparat and a potential upgrade to 3D functions later on.

Our high-end workstation is just waiting for the 2D Apparat to store the photos on the hard drive to start doing its job.

Note: If you are already using a powerful workstation, we can deliver the 2D Apparat without the workstation and connect it to your existing infrastructure. Furthermore, the 2D calculation can take place at a different location than the shots with the 2D Apparat. That allows you the highest possible flexibility!
